Like Barbera and Nebbiolo, it's a true regional grape that can produce interesting wines. This grape variety ripens a little more easily and quickly, so it's also grown in cooler regions of Italy. The Dolcetto for this wine comes from the communes of Treiso, Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga, and Madonna Como, partly
