Here is a 21" strand of medium size brick red Bauxite discs from Nigeria circa 1900s

Each ring varies slightly in size

This bead is over 100 years old and would be a super focal bead

24mm wide x 20mm tall with two 4mm loops at the top and a ring of 3mm drops at the bottom
