Handmade Lokta Paper Garland- Shooting Stars Verge de France and folded cards are availableThis garland features bright colored stars with multi colored trails, all cut from a variety of decorative Lokta papers. These garlands are made by hand in Nepal. A women's cooperative cuts and assembles each element of the garlands body and sews them together into an approximately 6 foot long garland. The decorative paper is also made by hand. The Lokta paper is made using bark of the Daphne plant. The bark is sustainably harvested while the plant
