The original screen was created in the late 15th or early 16th century. Period Paper is pleased to present a collection of halftone prints featuring Japanese art screens and sliding panels, or fusuma. The original pieces were displayed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, during the winter of 1935 1936, in order to acquaint the public with Japanese artwork.
