Faiveley Corton 'Clos des Cortons Faiveley' Monopole Grand Cru - 2002 (750ml) Aligote but I would push that(2002 vintage) "Intense smoky, meaty, carrot top nose with black cherry, peppery, beeswax aromas and some tobacco compost notes. Dry, slightly fat style with fine, slightly chunky tannins. On the palate there's more spice compost, black raspberry, citrus peel and gamey, smoky tobacco flavours. Long meaty, rootsy finish.
